Step 1

You, as a real reporter, must look for and watch for the perfect moment, then have time to raise the camera in time, correctly compose the composition, use the lighting possibilities to achieve various effects and capture all this in the frame. Use a tele lens. This will allow you to film events that take place far from you: the characters will not know that you are filming them and therefore the emotions will be sincere. If someone notices you, they can react in different ways: a smile, a welcoming wave of the hand, a suspicious look, an angry face, a disgruntled model hurrying towards you. In any case, you will still have the opportunity to take a couple of shots before you have to change your location.
Step 4
Avoid taking pictures against the sun during the day, or use reflective surfaces, otherwise the subject will appear as a black flat spot. At night, try to put the moon in the frame on the contrary. She will create a very interesting atmosphere.

Take a tripod. It is very important for landscape photography and for photography in the evening and at night. But at the same time, the photo-walk itself should be unhurried so that you can choose a place suitable for shooting, sit on it, set up a tripod, set up the camera, and use long exposures. In addition, the presence of such a bulky and heavy object greatly reduces the photographer's mobility, and you no longer run around the city.
