A fairy-tale house can be made from a variety of materials: clay, gypsum, salt dough, etc. To make such a product suitable for play, make it from an ordinary cardboard box. Decorate the inside with homemade furniture comfortably, and decorate the outside with bright paper flowers and butterflies. Such a house will be a wonderful birthday present for a child.

Instructions
Step 1
Take a sturdy cardboard box. Make a door on one side wall at the very bottom. Draw a rectangle from the outside and cut it out on three sides so that the door can be opened and closed.
Step 2
Make windows on the other three side edges of the box. To do this, first draw a rectangle, then draw a cruciform frame in it. Cut out the squares of the windows. Cover the frame with tape inside and outside to simulate glass.
Step 3
Cover the inside of the box with colored paper or cotton cloth. Trim the floor of the box with velvet paper or flannel.
Step 4
Cut a pair of curtains for each window from a piece of fabric. Choose a non-flowing material so you don't have to overcast edges. Hang curtains. To do this, take a sturdy twofold thread and a needle.
Step 5
Pierce the wall of the house from outside to inside near the top corner of the window. Use small stitches to thread the edge of the curtain. Bring the needle out at the second top corner of the window. Pull the thread and tie its ends on the outside.
Step 6
Cover the outside of the box with colored paper. You can also use colored cardboard with a fancy surface or fabric.
Step 7
Make a removable roof of the house out of cardboard. By design, it is a box lid with a superstructure in the form of a gable roof. First, make the lid of the box.
Step 8
Perform a flat pattern. Draw a rectangle in the center. It should be slightly larger than the base of the box so that the lid closes freely.
Step 9
Attach rectangles 2-3 cm wide to each side of it. Leave an allowance for gluing. Cut out the workpiece, bend along the lines, glue. The lid is ready.
Step 10
Build a roof of cardboard rectangles on top. Paint or glue the roof slabs. Tighten the joints with duct tape. In the resulting attic, you can make a volumetric applique of flowers and butterflies. Your fabulous house is ready to welcome its tenants.
