A shawl is a knitted or woven fabric of different sizes and types. It is thrown over the shoulders, and then the modest dress becomes expressive, or vice versa, the shawl softens the severity of the costume. You can knit a simple shawl yourself.

Step 1
A crochet shawl can be crocheted with any pattern, from simple posts to an openwork mesh. You can attach brushes to the shawl or finish the edges with a strap. If you decide to crochet or knit a shawl, take the patterns of any tablecloth or even napkins as a basis, just modify it to the required size and select the threads.
Step 2
To crochet a shawl, prepare 700 g of yarn (wool) in two colors: blue and blue (150 mx / 00 g), as well as hook number 4. Start knitting from the middle of the long side of the shawl. Cast on a chain with blue threads from 10 air loops and close it into a ring.
Step 3
Then knit with purl and front rows 1 half of the circle, alternate in each tier the color of the yarn of flowers (light blue - blue - light blue - blue).
Step 4
To knit flat, calculate as follows: above each flower of 3 tiers should be 8 arcs, although in the previous tier there were 10. The number of flowers in 4 and 3 tiers is the same, but there should be more arcs between them.
Step 5
Finish the shawl with 2 rows of arcs and make 79 tassels 20cm long. Tie the upper edge of the shawl in several rows (3-4) from a single crochet.
Step 6
To make a corolla and a cup when knitting a flower, use the technique of knitting a column to the center of the previous one. To knit a cup, make a 6-crochet stitch, make 3 crochets, insert the hook into the center of the long crochet (middle of 3 and 4 crochets), pull out the loop and finish the stitch by making 3 crochets in succession.
Step 7
Tie 3 more stitches with 3 crochets in this place. You will get an element with a leg tied from a column and 3 yarns, and a top of 5 columns with 3 yards, but with a common base.
Step 8
To knit a whisk, make a column with 4 yarns, make 2 yarns, insert the crochet into the center of the long column (between 3 and 2 yarns), pull out the loop and finish the column by making 2 yarns in succession.
Step 9
Tie 2 more double crochets in the same place and get an element with a leg tied from a 2 crochet and a 3 double crochet top with a common base. In the remaining 6 single crochets of the previous row, tie the same elements.
