A beautiful and unusual element of the decor is artificial flowers, created independently from satin ribbons. The material, which has many variations, allows you to make a wide variety of flowers, which will differ in color, size and pattern. Chamomile from ribbons will become an original decoration of the hair tie.
Chamomile from ribbons of bright color
To make this simple flower, you need to prepare the following materials:
- scissors;
- a candle, matches or a lighter;
- glue;
- pencil;
- ruler;
- threads;
- a needle;
- button;
- a narrow strip of bright color.
First, you need to cut the tape into 8 equal strips. The size of these parts must be determined by yourself. It should be borne in mind that the length of one petal will be equal to one fourth of the length of the strip. After that, the sections of the resulting ribbons must be processed with fire. It is best to use a candle flame.
The middle of the workpiece is marked with a pencil. An adhesive is applied there. Both edges of the strip are glued to the center. They need to be pressed well. Similar actions are carried out with the rest of the ribbons. Then, it is necessary to form a chamomile from double petals, which is later glued or stitched in the center. At the last stage, the flower is decorated with a button. The chamomile is ready.
Chamomile made of white ribbon and yellow beads
First you need to prepare all the materials:
- narrow and wide satin ribbon in two colors;
- scissors;
- glue;
- a sheet of cardboard;
- pencil;
- soldering iron;
- button with a leg;
- beads.
A satin ribbon 0.5 cm wide and at least 10 cm long is cut into small strips. These segments are folded in half and soldered with a lighter. The result is a number of double petals. A circle is drawn on a sheet of cardboard and cut out. Its diameter should be at least 4 cm. To simplify the task, you can take any vial from under the medicine, attach it to the cardboard and circle it.
Next, you need to start making leaves. For this, pieces are cut from a wider tape. They can be of different lengths. After that, the ribbons are folded right side inward. A small cut is made on each. To do this, a ruler is applied to one of the corners and the middle of the opposite side. You can cut it with a soldering iron, if you have one.
The leaves are later turned inside out and glued to the cardboard blank. Then chamomile is formed. First, the first row of petals is glued, then the second between the petals of the first row. Next, a button is taken, smeared with glue and rolled in beads until a full-fledged chamomile core is obtained. After complete drying, the center is glued with hot glue in chamomile. The flower is ready.
