Instructions
Step 1
Take narrow satin ribbons in different colors and lengths. Take the tape and fold it at a right angle. Lay the hanging end of the tape over the fold. In the same way, lay the other end of the tape over the fold - so that the ends around the fold form a right angle.
Step 2
Repeat the exact same folds, first with one end and then with the other, until you have a small piece of tape on each side. It is enough to repeat the folds five times.
Step 3
The remaining ends of the ribbons will lie crosswise on the workpiece. Secure them by pinching the crosshairs with your fingers, and then, while continuing to hold the ends with your fingers, lift them up. You will see how the blank has expanded into a long braided shape.
Step 4
Now, holding the ends with your fingers, pull one of them up. The figure will gradually begin to tighten, acquiring the shape of a graceful flower. Pull the ribbon up until you see the resulting rose pointing down.
Step 5
Flip the figurine over and pin the cross-ends to prevent the rose from falling apart. Without reaching for the pin, tie the two ends, the long and the short, tightly together. Then remove the pin.
Step 6
The ends of the ribbon can be cut, or can be used as an attachment to a rose or its additional decorative element.
