Such a postcard is quite simple to make, but it requires great precision and accuracy.
To create such a voluminous postcard, you will need thick colored paper, a breadboard knife (a sharp scalpel is also suitable), a ruler, and a pencil.
1. Consider a postcard pattern. Bright dark yellow lines on it show the places of cuts, light gray - folds. If you are not confident in your abilities, print the drawing and rehearse using the printout.
2. On colored paper, mark with a pencil the places of cuts and folds in the same way as on the pattern. Be careful to draw lightly so you can erase the pencil marks later.
3. Make cuts according to the diagram with a scalpel or breadboard knife. Use the edge of a ruler (or a non-writing ballpoint pen) where you want the folds to make it easier to fold the paper.
4. Carefully fold the paper where indicated on the pattern so that the heart-shaped plane rises above the bottom of the card.
The postcard is almost ready. Now you can write warm wishes and give it, or you can add it as follows. Glue the colored paper card onto the thin white cardboard base. Then the outside of the finished postcard can also be decorated - paint or make an applique, for example.
By the way, such a heart card can be pasted into a store card of a suitable size.
