Knitted hats will never lose their relevance, and therefore new models of hats appear from time to time. One has only to be surprised at the imagination and inexhaustible ideas of the person who creates original versions of hats. Considering that it is not always possible to purchase a thing you like, you can, having "peeped" the peculiarities of knitting, independently make an analogue.
Instructions
Step 1
For knitting hats, choose yarn in two contrasting or harmonizing tones. For example, the majority of the yarn will be brown and very little thread will be needed as a white decor, and the latter must be prepared in advance and rewound in such a way that the thread is twice as thin as brown.
Step 2
Before knitting the product, first knit a pattern consisting of 20 loops and 20 rows. Then wash it and dry it flat, and then make the calculations.
In order to correctly knit a hat, you need to know the girth of the head and the height of the product. The height in this model is more relevant. Traditionally, the hat is knitted from the frontal part to the back of the head. This model is knitted along the girth of the head.
Step 3
The knitting pattern will be shawl and hosiery. Cast on 40 loops, knit 8 rows with brown threads in a hosiery pattern. Scheme: * 4 odd rows - front loops, 4 even rows - purl *. Then go to white yarn, which knit in even and odd rows with front loops (only 1 row "back and forth"). This is garter stitch. Then go back to the brown thread and start over.
Step 4
Due to the white, and thicker yarn and the peculiarities of knitting, the result is beautiful embossed "grooves" located along the product. As you knit, apply the planned hat to your head to really estimate the number of rows remaining. The end must be calculated in such a way that the last rows are one white groove, after which only one row of brown threads is knitted.
Step 5
Sew the edges of the cap. Now, on one side, type on the circular knitting needles the loops for the elastic, the scheme of which you can choose any (1x1, 2x2, or English false). Knit at least 10 rows (if you prefer an elastic with a double cuff, then increase the number of rows).
Step 6
Only the occipital part (apex) remained uncovered. At an equal interval (you can use each white groove), gather the edge on a thread, pull it off and fix it. Additionally, decorate the top with long knitted spirals in white and brown.
