The charming, sexy, charismatic Vera Brezhneva hit the stage thanks to a fluke. In a short time, she was able to conquer millions of hearts with her musical abilities, and then she opened up as a talented actress, presenter and model.
Vera Brezhneva (Galushka) was born in 1982 in Ukraine in the small town of Dneprodzerzhinsk (the city of Kamenskoe since 2016) in a family of simple factory workers. In addition to Vera, the family had three more children, so they lived quite modestly. Her creativity manifested itself in the girl even in kindergarten: despite the lack of financial opportunity to go to vocal and choreographic schools, Vera, speaking at matinees, attracted the attention of the audience with her outstanding data, artistry and charisma. At school, she was a participant in all school evenings, performances and concerts. Being a very active and versatile person, Vera always tried to develop herself in various areas - sports, languages, various courses, which she earned herself in high school. After graduating from school, Vera Brezhneva entered the Dnepropetrovsk National University of Railway Transport named after Academician V. Lazaryan and graduated with a diploma in economics.
Fateful meeting
In 2002, the group "VIA Gra" arrived in the city of Dnepropetrovsk, where Vera studied at the university. Being a fan of the ensemble, the girl could not miss their concert, and came to Monastyrsky Island, where girls already famous all over Ukraine performed. During the performance of the song "Attempt # 5", everyone who wants to join the group and sing along with the girls was invited to the stage. Vera Brezhneva, always actively manifesting herself in all kinds of events, could not refuse such an opportunity and went on stage. Excellent hearing, beautiful timbre and an amazing figure did not escape the eyes of the producer of the group - Dmitry Kostyuk - after the concert he approached Vera and took her phone number, promising to invite to the casting. The girl did not even count on the continuation of such a fabulous story, but after a while the call still arrived, and Vera went to Kiev for a casting to be a member of the group. After a long selection, Vera was nevertheless taken into the group instead of Alena Vinnitskaya. From that hour on, the time of great changes began in Vera's life.
Career in the group "VIA Gra"
The first step for Vera with the surname Galushka was invented a stage name - Vera Brezhneva. The surname of Brezhnev was invented spontaneously by the producer of the group only because Vera was a countrywoman of Leonid Brezhnev, who was also from Dneprodzherzhinsk. Vera very quickly joined the team, and already in 2003 the group entered the stage with a renewed line-up. To this day, the trio Vera Brezhneva, Anna Sedokova and Nadezhda Granovskaya are considered the most fruitful line-up of the group. The stars of VIA Gra won a standing ovation from the halls not only throughout Ukraine, but also in the CIS, their songs and videos did not leave the first lines of the charts for months and were awarded many prizes and prestigious awards. For four years Vera Brezhneva was a member of the group and gained popularity among millions of people. In 2007, the girl left the group and took up a solo career, and also began acting in films and broadcasting programs on television.
