You have decided to write a book. Try to figure out what pushes you to this, what do you really want? The most memorable works come from the pen of the author in the event that he has something to say to the reader. The plot of a book can be very exciting and dynamic, it can be printed in large editions, or filmed based on it. And still, this book may be completely empty. On the other hand, there are authors whose books have also been published and are being published in large editions, films are made on them. But these books leave something in the soul, they are remembered for a long time. Films created from them can be watched over and over again. When working on the plot of the book, be sure to lay in it the main conflict - that which will predetermine the development of the plot. For example, the main character is a thief. But at some point, faced with a choice, he acts as a person should. His conscience takes over, he rises above his "I" in the name of higher ideals. Reading a book, the reader empathizes with such a hero, he is interesting to him. On the other hand, an absolutely positive and carefully "sleek" character will look uninteresting.

Endow even goodies with certain flaws. Such little things add originality to the character of the book, make him more lively and interesting for the reader. Conversely, the most notorious villain may have some positive traits. Add small details to the characters that characterize them from one side or the other. A seemingly insignificant trifle can say more about the hero of the book than a few pages of description.

The book should be interesting. Always feel the line separating description from "water". Never work on volume, the quality of the text should come first. Get in the habit of writing every day, but don't make it a rule. And if you feel that the work is not progressing, postpone the text for a day or two.

There are two main ways to work on a book. The first boils down to the fact that the author thinks through the plot in advance in all the details and then only translates it into text. But there is also a second option, when the author does not have an exact idea of how the fate of his heroes will turn out. Sometimes, writing a book can begin with just one phrase that pops up in your mind. It is followed by another, third, the contours of the plot are gradually emerging. At the same time, the heroes begin to live their own lives, the author only describes everything that happens in front of his inner gaze.

Pay attention to the sound of the text. A high-quality text is in many ways similar to poetry, as it has its own internal rhythm. When reading, the eyes should not stumble, stumble, phrases should flow smoothly into one another. Pauses in the right places only emphasize the rhythm of the text, making it readable and easy to understand.
Step 7
Introduce several storylines and a large (within reasonable limits) number of characters into the work. This will allow you to easily move from one scene to another, varying events and characters. In doing so, you will be able to dynamically finish chapters, keeping the reader interested. Never build a plot on a sequential description of what happens to one character, such a continuous narration tires the reader. Variety is necessary - alternate the description of events occurring with different heroes of the work, while it is the reader who will gradually see the full picture of what is happening.
Step 8
The text is ready. Read it at least twice, only in this case you will be able to catch the main mistakes and bloopers. If there are several storylines, control the timing of the events, you should not have inconsistencies. After that, you just have to send the work to a particular publisher and wait for the result.
