It is necessary

  • - paper;
  • - scotch tape;
  • - cardboard;
  • - pencil;
  • - scissors.

Instructions

Step 1

Draw two ovals on thick paper. One of them, more oblong, for the formation of the body of the pigeon, the other for the head of the bird. Connect them with neck lines. Add guidelines for the beak.

Step 2

Cut out the bird's body. Make two vertical line marks on it for the position of the tail and wings.

Step 3

Cut a white sheet of paper in half across. Fold both halves accordion lengthwise. Make cuts on the body of the pigeon at the locations of the wings and tail. Insert folded sheets of paper into the holes.

Step 4

To prevent the wings from falling out of the body, fix them with tape. Glue the ends of the tail feathers together to form a fan.

Step 5

Draw or glue the eyes of the dove. Attach the hanging thread to the bird's body using tape. Decorate the torso and wings with glitter or paint with a marker.

Step 6

You can also make a paper dove using origami technique. To do this, take a typewritten sheet, put it with the smaller side facing you. Pull on the top right corner and fold it over to align with the side edge of the paper. Smooth the fold line carefully with your hand.

Step 7

Straighten the sheet and do the same with the upper left corner of the sheet. Then, grasping the side edges of the sheet with both hands, pull them towards each other. Fold the shape and smooth with your hand.

Step 8

To the resulting new corner, alternately bend both upper ones. It will turn out to be a square. Set its right and left corners up until they touch the middle line and bend.

Step 9

Straighten them, and then bend them down, also bringing them to the centerline. Now bend both corners in the middle with two fingers to make a kind of horns. Then bend the sheet under them, the horns form a beak. Bend the pigeon figurine with a boat along the beak line.
