Didactic games are interesting and useful to do together with children. For example, numbers and letters can be molded from plasticine or cut from colored paper. The very process of making such a game will take the child for a long time. Hand-made bright and beautiful numbers can arouse great interest in solving mathematical problems. In addition, paper numbers are also needed in order to make cookies of the appropriate shape.

It is necessary

  • - a computer with a text editor and a set of fonts;
  • - Printer;
  • - copy paper;
  • - colored paper;
  • - scissors;
  • - hole puncher.

Instructions

Step 1

Open a text editor and install a suitable font. In the top menu you will find a box with the names of the fonts, and next to the sizes. Enter all numbers from 0 to 9 and print the page. You can also write numbers by hand. Better to do this on graph paper. If you are going to transfer them to colored paper through carbon paper, you only need outlines. To transfer the numbers to paper through the backlit glass, fill the images with ink or black gouache.

Step 2

It is very convenient to use graphic editors to make a printed stencil. There you can not only enter text, but also flip it horizontally. Then you can translate the letters not on the front, but on the back of the paper. If you have a color printer, you can also make numbers from plain white paper. Fill them with the desired color in preparation for printing.

Step 3

Put the numbers on paper. If you don't have a carbon copy on hand (which you can buy from the office supplies department), use regular glass. Stick the sheet with the printed numbers with tape, for example, to the window. The numbers in this case are arranged as they will look. Place a sheet of thin colored paper face up on top and trace the outlines. This method is not suitable for working with velvet paper or cardboard. But it is possible to cut out printed numbers and use them as stencils.

Step 4

Cut out the numbers. For thin colored paper, use sharp, short, straight scissors. If you want to entrust this task to a child, give him a pair of scissors with blunt ends. It is more convenient to cut velvet paper or cardboard with a knife with a trapezoidal blade. Cut out the numbers along the outer contour.

Step 5

For some numbers, it is necessary to cut more holes, surrounded by a contour on all sides. To keep it smooth, cut away from the edges. You can use, for example, a hole punch. Continue the process with scissors or a knife, being careful to cut as carefully as possible. Rotate the paper, not the scissors.
