The work of many days, and sometimes weeks, is so annoying to destroy. If the picture is printed with high quality, then it can become a wonderful decoration for the interior of your apartment or summer cottage. The recently appeared velvet puzzles look especially impressive.

Step 1
Before gluing the assembled puzzle to the selected surface, it must be turned over. The best option if you have thought about it in advance and assembled the puzzle on an easy-to-move surface. For example, on a fiberboard sheet, plexiglass or a special rug.
In this case, you just have to find another equally flat, lightweight, portable surface. Cover the assembled puzzle with this sheet, press the two surfaces firmly against each other and quickly turn the resulting "sandwich" over. When working with large-area puzzles, before turning it over, it is better to fasten the planes with tape or call someone for help.
Step 2
If you have assembled a picture on a table, then you can attach a movable surface to it, forming a single plane, and gently move the puzzle. But in the case when the floor becomes the working platform, the task becomes much more complicated. The puzzle can only be turned over manually in parts. Or use the following method.
Step 3
You can also fasten the puzzle pieces together from the front side of the puzzle. This will require a special glue or ordinary PVA, diluted with water to a semi-liquid consistency. Before starting work, thoroughly clean the painting from dust and debris.
Step 4
Apply the glue in a thick layer, especially covering the joints of the parts. Gaps must be filled.
Do not be alarmed by the white PVA color: after drying, it will become completely transparent. Please note that glue can leak between the joints of the puzzles and ruin the surface underneath.
The puzzle connected with glue can be turned over for further gluing to the surface and already hung on the wall.
Step 5
Most often, the puzzle is connected with tape from the back side. It must be glued with an overlap, carefully straightening and pressing each tape, first in the vertical and then in the horizontal direction. Trim any excess tape around the edges. You can also use adhesive tape to glue the puzzle. From it, you must first cut a piece a few millimeters smaller than the picture.
The disadvantage of this method is that scotch tape and film are often glued unevenly to a previously unconnected puzzle, and parts of the puzzle fall out during operation.
Step 6
A more durable base for your masterpiece will be fiberboard (fiberboard), cardboard, foam or ceiling tiles. To do this, carefully coat the base of the required size with undiluted PVA and apply it to the back of the puzzle. Press down lightly and quickly turn the structure over. Gently press the individual pieces of the puzzle to the surface, taking care to avoid glue seeping through the gaps. Wash off leaks immediately with a soft cloth dampened in warm water.
Step 7
Each foundation has its drawbacks. Fiberboard will significantly weigh the finished picture, the foam is too thick and will not fit into almost any frame, and the ceiling tile is convenient to use only for puzzles up to 500 pieces. Otherwise, you will have to make up the basis of several parts. Cardboard can bend, so the work must be dried under a press.
Step 8
Fabric is also used as a base: tulle or gauze. In this case, glue is applied to the back of the puzzle itself, and the fabric is applied on top. The piece of gauze should be 4-5 centimeters larger than the puzzle on each side. Turn the painting over and remove excess glue. Dry on a flat surface. To fix the result after drying, you can re-soak the gauze with glue. Cut off excess fabric or use to stretch the picture.
