In 1983, the king of pop music Michael Jackson literally blew up the whole world, performing at his concert an unusual dance for that time - the moonwalk. Since then, only the lazy has not tried to repeat these such simple, but such mysterious movements. And it is already easy, on occasion, to meet a whole crowd of young people who will simultaneously walk this moonwalk.
It is necessary
- In order to learn how to dance the moonwalk, you need:
- -mirror;
- -comfortable shoes.
Instructions
Step 1
The moonwalk was first used back in 1964. Then the famous Frenchman Jean-Louis Barr passed it in the classic pantomime for the film "Children of Raik". However, everyone remembered this dance only after Michael Jackson introduced it to the world. The admirers of the king of the priest's art instantly took her away into the courtyards, having learned to repeat these movements in just a couple of hours. To learn how to dance the moonwalk, you first need to take care of comfortable shoes. It must be soft and not embossed.
Step 2
The legs should be flexible and responsive to every movement. How do you succeed in mastering this movement? Only by training and repeating movements over and over, over and over again. When everything is ready, we stand in front of the mirror, so it will be easier to see and evaluate our mistakes. Legs together, hands are freely released. We direct all body weight to the legs.
Step 3
Next, you need to put your left leg back, lean on your toe and slowly transfer the weight of the body to this leg (it's okay that everything is done slowly at once, after several stubborn workouts, speed will appear). The body at this moment needs to be tilted back a little. Support on the left leg.
Step 4
Now, as smoothly as possible, with such a sliding movement, you need to take your right leg back, trying not to tear it off the floor. The leg should slide as far back as possible.
Step 5
To complete the movement, you need to lower the heel of your left foot and at the same time raise the heel of your right foot. And only now it is possible to transfer the weight of the body from the left leg to the right. The freed left leg can now slide backwards on the floor. As soon as it slips, you need to swap the heels of the left and right feet, and again the weight of the body is transferred to the left foot. That's all - the movement is looped back. Now you need to work out the movements and speed, carefully following the straight line along which the whole dance is built.
