The moonwalk was once popularized by the incomparable Michael Jackson. The singer is no longer with us, but you can always honor his memory. It is enough just to learn how to do a moonwalk.
Instructions
Step 1
Find a pair of low, tight boots. If there are none, then you can begin to practice doing a moonwalk in boots, worn on thick, thick socks. For your first workout, find a polished floor to glide slightly.
Step 2
You need to start doing the moonwalk like this: stand up straight, both legs close to each other, the left leg slightly in front of the right (the toe of the right leg should be in line with the middle of the left foot).
Step 3
Raise the heel of your right foot as if you were about to take a step. The left leg should remain motionless.
Slowly lower your heel, while trying to direct your entire body weight to your right leg. At the same time, move your left backward (without lifting it off the floor) until the left heel is in line with the right toe.
Now continue practicing this step until you reach the desired speed and fluidity of movement.
Step 4
You have learned the basic element of the moonwalk, now the task becomes more difficult. Repeat the same as described in the previous step. But make sure your left leg is bent at the knee.
Step 5
When you have mastered the moon stride and bent left leg, switch legs and hone your craft again. Raise your heel, direct your weight, slide.
