From puzzles, pictures of amazing beauty are obtained, if the basis of the drawing is a masterful photograph. It's a pity to mix and put back in the box, but you can decorate your apartment with them.

It is necessary

  • - 2 sheets of fiberboard or a puzzle mat and a sheet of fiberboard;
  • - PVA-M glue or stationery glue;
  • - wood varnish PF-157;
  • - hard flat brush or sponge;
  • - scotch tape;
  • - a frame for a puzzle.

Instructions

Step 1

Collect the puzzle that you want to keep on a sheet of fiberboard or on a puzzle mat, in a word, on any dense detachable surface that can be covered with another sheet and turned over. If the puzzle is assembled on a table, move it onto a thick sheet or board, cover with another sheet. Press them firmly together and turn them over.

Step 2

Glue the back of the puzzle with tape, overlapping across, then along the surface. Cut off excess tape, choose a suitable frame, clamp the picture between the glass and the base.

Step 3

Select the material for gluing the puzzle if it is not possible to turn it over to the back side. This situation arises when the puzzle is very large and can only be assembled on the floor, and the fiberboard sheet was not put under the picture in time. Use PVA glue and varnish, or office glue.

Step 4

Clean the painting of any dust or debris that gets on the surface, then carefully place a piece of plastic or tissue paper under the painting to protect the floor surface from glue. Apply PVA glue in a thick layer to the front of the painting using a flat brush or a small sponge (you can also use plain office glue). Try not to delay the process of applying the glue, as it dries quickly, but at the same time glue all the joints of the painting.

Step 5

Leave the painting for 2-3 hours until the glue is completely dry. If it fills in all the gaps between the pieces of the puzzle and becomes transparent, forming a matte film, the gluing is done correctly.

Step 6

Apply wood varnish to the glued puzzle to add shine. First, clean it off again to remove any debris or dust, then use a sponge to apply some polish evenly all over the painting. Make sure that the varnish is applied without gaps, as this will be noticeable after drying. Avoid touching an already varnished surface with your hands or clothing. Do not touch the painting for two days until the varnish is completely dry.
