Memorizing voluminous texts is considered a professional duty of actors, teachers, and presenters. But if necessary, every person can engage in a fight with such material. In order for your struggle to end with a quick, complete and unconditional victory, start an active offensive from several sides.

Step 1
Analyze the text, make sure that you have a clear idea of its topic, you understand every word correctly. Break it down into logical blocks. This must be done so that the brain has time to create associations during the course of the story. Especially effective is the way to quickly memorize paragraphs for literary texts.
Step 2
Rewrite each paragraph several times. Do this thoughtfully, rereading and repeating each phrase to yourself. At the same time, memorize the sentences for writing in full. Take a short break, repeat the procedure. With each approach, you will notice that you look at the text less and less often. It is especially effective to do this exercise before bedtime.
Step 3
Read the text on the recorder. Plug in your headphones, relax, start recording. Listen several times, imagining pictures or "videos" of what is happening in the story. Be sure to take a short break. Repeat several times, then take a break for a considerable time so that the information settles in your head.
Step 4
Slides with pictures that illustrate or associatively supplement the text are well suited to help in memorization. Combine this method with recording on a voice recorder. Start playback, listen while looking at the images. Repeat this procedure several times. Tell the text from memory using only pictures.
Step 5
Ask a friend to help you learn the text quickly. It is better to do this when most of it has already been learned, but some moments fall out of memory. The second person will be able not only to check the level of memorization, but also make the necessary prompts.
Step 6
Remember to take breaks to better memorize long texts. The information received should not only be remembered "for this minute", but also hold out in memory until the right moment.
