For many home tape recorders or car radio tape recorders, a conventional audio CD remains the only digital storage medium. At the same time, most of the music that can be downloaded is in mp3 format, that is, it is compressed audio for computer technology. But, fortunately, everything that is compressed can be decompressed, albeit with some loss in quality.
Instructions
Step 1
The most convenient tool for creating audio files from mp3 is the Nero Burning ROM burner software. Its structure, from version 6 and later, includes many additional utilities for working with data formats, from video to sound. If you want, you can use other tools, for example, the built-in Foobar2000 player or programs for complex converting and burning discs, such as Burrn!
Step 2
If you do not have Nero Burning ROM installed, download and install it. To do this, in any search engine enter the query "Download Nero". Double-click the downloaded installation file and answer "Next" and "Yes" to the questions of the installation wizard.
Step 3
Open the Nero program. The project selection window will appear. If you only want to convert the mp3 files to audio format, click the Cancel button.
Step 4
At the top of the window, click the "Advanced" button and select the first line "Encode files". The built-in Nero converter window opens. Click "Add" in the left central part of the window, or simply drag and drop the files you need into the encoder window. They will appear in the list marked "Failed".
Step 5
Below the list of files there are several lines of encoding settings. This is a file format, select “PCM Wav file” to convert to normal audio. This option is checked by default. Below, select the folder where the converted files will be written. Click the Browse button to choose a convenient storage location. Please note that audio data files take up much more space than mp3 files.
Step 6
Once you have configured the storage location and file format, click the Go or Launch button, depending on the translation of your version of Nero. A line will appear with the progress of the operation - after the encoding is completed, it will disappear, and a mark “Completed” will appear in front of the track names in the list. In general, it is ready, now, if you wish, you can write the received files to disk in audio format for household appliances.
