Playing your favorite song beautifully requires practice and honing in the performance of that song. The easiest way to get into the world of guitar music is to learn how to get a clear rhythm out of your guitar. The chord system of playing is the basis of rhythm in music played on the guitar.

Step 1
What is a chord? A chord is a harmony of strings. In guitar chords, this is the sound of three or more strings. In a chord, a main note is distinguished and a consonance that is adjacent to the main note. When playing guitar chords, there are some guidelines to follow that will serve as a good teacher.
Learn all the most famous chords: D, Dm, E, Em, A, Am, C, Cm, F, Fm, G, Gm. These chords make up 90% of all chords used by most of the world's most popular musicians.
Step 2
Learn to play chords right away. If you give yourself some indulgence, then it will be very difficult to retrain. Most books on guitar playing indicate how to place your fingers when placing them on the neck of the guitar (which finger is on which string).
Try to pinch the chords completely. This will give you full depth of sound. Hold down a chord and run along the strings, when you hear unpleasant and dull sounds, press the chord even harder. These sounds indicate that the strings are not being pressed properly.
Step 3
As you grasp a chord, pay attention to the placement of your fingers. The toes should be slightly bent (not straight), i.e. represent a semicircle. Do not bend your fingers for the sake of what is written here. Try to do it organically, you should be able to do it without too much effort.
