The creation of any prose is a serious and extremely difficult business. Writing thematic stories for children should, among other things, have an educational connotation necessary for the formation of a child's worldview.

Step 1
Do not think that only a professional writer can write a story for children. Imagine a situation when you yourself create small literary works for your own child that can instill in him a sense of responsibility, philanthropy, and kindness. It takes a lot of work to introduce a child to developmental reading, but rest assured that the result will meet all your expectations.
Step 2
To write children's stories, you need to adhere to simple rules, the observance of which will lead to the desired result. Before you sit down at your desk or computer, re-read a sufficient number of works by various children's authors. Do not forget that even genius writers began by creating some "imitations" of the works they most loved.

Pick a main story idea that will appeal to both you and your child.

If the story is written in a fairytale style, then choose those characters who personify both good and evil. This is necessary to achieve the pedagogical goals of your work. In other words, the story must contain moral, without which its educational effect is sharply reduced.

Use a sufficient number of new concepts in the story. This will ensure that the child is interested in the plot and asks to explain to him the meaning of words he does not understand. This method will have a positive effect on the development of any child.

Create small problem situations in the story. This will allow the kid to think more often about what is happening on the pages of the work.

And most importantly: writing a story for a child is an action that will allow you to plunge into the problems of a "tender age", and therefore better understand your child.
