A bowl of fruit can be the centerpiece of your still life. It can also be the only subject in your drawing. To draw it correctly, it is enough to adhere to a few rules.
It is necessary

- - eraser;
- - materials for work in color.
Instructions
Step 1
If the vase has a high leg, it is advisable to place the sheet of paper vertically. Otherwise, fix it horizontally. Mark the approximate placement of this object. Draw a vertical line - an invisible axis that runs through the center of the vase. Next, count the number of circles in the pot. Draw horizontal lines crossing the axis according to their number. Mark the length of the upper oval (a circle on a plane looks like this in perspective). Use a pencil to measure the distance from the center axis of the vase to the left and right ends of the oval. It should be the same.
Step 2
Carry out the same operation with all the circles of the vase. Then draw each oval. The lower it is, the wider its width, check this with a pencil. Then connect the edges of the ellipses to form the outline of the crockery. Mark the arrangement of apples, pears and other things in the bowl with circles and ovals. Next, sketch out each fruit you can see. If there are individual fruits lying next to the vase, build each one. To do this, draw an upper, middle and lower ellipse for round objects (apples, peaches), then connect them in shape. For oval objects (bananas, pears) draw transverse ovals (section).
Step 3
Mark additional details on the vase, if any - a drawing, an uneven surface (ribbing), handles, etc. Then mark highlights, shadows on the dishes and fruits. Don't forget about the drop shadow as well. Use the eraser to remove all hidden and construction lines. Get started in color.
Step 4
Start filling the drawing with the background. Then move on to the fruits, outline the main color spots. "Fill" the vase with color from top to bottom. If you work with colored pencils, then shading should be applied according to the shape of the object (this applies to dishes and food). In the variant of working with paints, you can convey the shape by playing with light and shadow. Don't forget about glare. If you can erase the pencil with an eraser, then the paint is unlikely to be washed off with water. So leave the highlights clean right away. Light filling is allowed.
