The "knucking" technique is unique. It allows you to knit the fabric according to any pattern for knitting. Including a canvas with braids. Knitting using the knitting technique is similar to knitting, but only a special hook and an auxiliary thread are used.
It is necessary
Knocking hook, auxiliary thread, yarn
Instructions
Step 1
Decide how wide the braid will be and how many purl loops you need to dial around the edges of the braid. For example, cast on a chain of 28 chain stitches. Of these, 12 front and 8 purl (total 16) from each edge of the canvas.
Step 2
The loops should be drawn from the partitions of the chain of air loops. For a set of purl loops, the thread must be held before work (in the "towards you" position). For a set of front loops, keep the thread at work (in the "away" position). The knitting principle is similar to knitting.
Step 3
The loops are on the hook, transfer all loops to the auxiliary thread.
Step 4
The second row and other rows are knitted according to the pattern. Tie several rows. For example, 12.
Step 5
Divide the central 12 loops in half; in the sample, 2 times 6 loops are obtained. The loops can be delimited for convenience with a special marker.
Step 6
Crossing of loops is done, as when knitting "braids" with knitting needles. Leave the first half of the loops not knitted (loops 1-6). Move them over to work. Knit stitches 7-12.
Step 7
Then you need to knit the first half of the loops (1-6).
Step 8
The loops are knitted with the front loops, behind the loops of the second part of the "braid".
Step 9
It turned out crossing to the right.
Step 10
Tie the row to the end.
Step 11
Knit several rows and cross the center loops again.
Step 12
To knit a "braid" with a criss-cross to the left, you need to knit several rows, divide the front loops in half.
Step 13
Skip the first half of the sts, sts 1-6. Leave them before work.
Step 14
Knit the second half of the loops at work, and then knit the loops of the first half. All loops are knit with the front ones.
Step 15
It turned out crossing to the left.
