The beautiful shape of bottles for juice, milk or wine often makes us not throw away the container, but use it to decorate the interior. Only traces of glue from the label may remain on the glass. To hide them and at the same time decorate the bottle, braid it with a net of beads.

It is necessary

  • - Fishing line;
  • - beads;
  • - bottle.

Instructions

Step 1

There are two main ways to weave on a bottle. The first results in an openwork mesh through which the color of the glass will be visible. The second one covers the bottle completely.

Step 2

To make a mesh, take beads of two colors, for example, black and white. It can be the same or different sizes. Use a thin line as a base - it should go into the bead at least 3 times.

Step 3

Pass the end of the line through the black bead and secure it with a knot. Then string five white beads and one black one. Bend around the top black bead and pass the line through all the remaining ones, passing it through the set row in the opposite direction. String on the same thread several more of the same black and white segments one after another in one row. The length of the collected thread should be equal to the length of the bottle from the base of the neck to the bottom.

Step 4

When the size of the thread is sufficient, put five black beads on the fishing line - they will subsequently braid the bottom of the bottle in a circle. Then cast on five white beads, one black, five more white, and thread the end of the line into the black bead in the first row. To find it, count off five white beads, one black and five more white beads from a segment of five black beads.

Step 5

Continue stringing, connecting the new row with the previous one in the same zigzags using every second black bead in the previous row. When you get to the top of the row, thread the line through the top section, as described at the beginning of step 3.

Step 6

When the net is wide enough, slide it over the bottle and tighten by connecting the first and last rows with a line. Pull a new piece of fishing line through the top beads and also tighten so that the net wraps around the neck of the bottle.

Step 7

To create a solid mesh, you will need solid color beads. Take the fishing line at both ends and thread them towards each other through two beads, then through two more. String such a glad until it is equal to the height of the bottle to the section where it narrows.

Step 8

Secure one end of the line, and continue to weave the net with the other. Put on it two beads, and then pass the “tail” through the two beads in the previous row. Type the beaded fabric in this way to a width equal to the girth of the bottle. Fasten this belt to the bottle by threading the line alternately through the beads of the first and last rows, moving from bottom to top.

Step 9

To braid the neck, put one bead on the fishing line, pass the end of the working thread into the opposite bead of the previous row, and then again into the newly strung bead. With this "ring" stringing, gain sufficient mesh height, decreasing one bead in each row. After completing the work, fasten the end of the fishing line with a knot and thread it into several beads below. The braiding is ready.
