Before starting the construction of any building, including a private house, each architect or civil engineer must order the production of a model of the future dwelling on a scale of 1: 100. Only by seeing a reduced copy of a unique and unrepeatable house, you can more accurately calculate the required amount of materials and make an estimate for construction. Such a model can also be made as an original gift for your children, because every child has ever dreamed of a toy house. In this article, you will learn how you can make a home layout yourself.
It is necessary
- - several sheets of thin plywood (cardboard or foam)
- - construction glue ("Moment" or liquid nails)
- - sharp knife
- - skin
- - awl
- - thin slats
- - pencil
- - ruler
- - plastic bottle or organic glass.
Instructions
Step 1
Sketch the house on ordinary scrapbook sheets. The drawing should be made not only in front, in profile, but also in section. Consider the smallest details of the projected building.
Step 2
On graph paper, observing the proportions of scale, draw the blanks for the walls, floor, roof and foundation.
Step 3
Transfer the markings from the paper to the plywood (or whatever material you use). Cut out rectangles for the walls, 4 isosceles triangles for the roof, a rectangle for the base to which you will anchor the building, and if you have multiple floors, cut out the ceiling-floor.
Step 4
Sand the cuts on all parts. Sand the parts themselves for a smoother look. Use the skin only when you are using plywood or wood to make the layout.
Step 5
Cut out window and door openings in the walls. Fasten all parts of the facade together using glue or liquid nails.
Step 6
Make the foundation of the house from the slats and attach it to the "pedestal" of the model.
Step 7
Bond the foundation and walls together.
Step 8
Build a porch from matchboxes or wooden blocks. Entrance decoration: handrail, porch canopy - make of thin wooden planks and a plastic bottle.
Step 9
Draw a door on the plywood, cut it out, sand it. Make a fastener for the door and glue the panel to the cut out in advance, the opening.
Step 10
Use organic glass or clear plastic for windows. Insert glass into frames (use slats and glue). Cover the frames with glue before placing them in the window openings.
Step 11
Sand the joints of the roof parts together so that they coincide, and there are no gaps and crevices. Glue the triangles together and after drying, attach to the "house".
Step 12
Inspect the layout critically, add missing small details. Cover the roof and facade of the building with paint. If you want to see more than just a smooth wall and a flat roof, walk along the facade with a cutter, and then sand the cuts, imitating the joints of logs or laying bricks.
