A puppet theater at all times is not only entertainment for adults and children, but also an educational, therapeutic, cognitive event for a child. It turns out that a toy show can be easily staged at home, choosing as spectators the closest relatives and friends. How to organize a puppet theater?

Step 1
Build a stage. A screen can be made very simply: stretch a rope in the middle of the room and hang a piece of cloth or a light blanket over it. If you need to put something on the stage, then put a flat board between the backs of the chairs and throw a blanket over it. In this case, you can put any decorations, toys, artificial forest on top. The finished scene can be decorated with bows, paper hearts, drawings, fish.
Step 2
Find puppets for the show. Many different toys can be purchased for the theater: puppets, reed, finger. But the most popular type is glove dolls that are worn on the hand. Such toys are sold in stores, both one at a time and in series for various fairy tales.
Step 3
You can make hand-worn dolls on your own! To do this, gloves and socks that are unnecessary in the household are suitable, on which you will need to embroider eyes, a nose, a mouth, and decorate the resulting face with hair from threads. The main thing is that the toy should be the size of the puppeteer's hand.
Craft a cloth toy. To get a pattern, place your palm on the paper and trace with a pencil. The hand should be in such a form as if a doll is wearing it: the index finger looks up, the thumb and little finger are spread out to the sides, the rest of the fingers are tucked in. On the mold, make allowances on the sides in the amount of one centimeter for the seams. Now take a thick fabric that is soft and pleasant to the touch. Trim the two pieces of the glove doll and sew them together. As a head, you can use a ball made by the papier-mâché method or borrow this part from an old unnecessary toy.
Step 4
Come up with a script. You can take well-known fairy tales as a basis or compose something original. The younger the participants in the performance, the simpler the piece should be. The child can first be entrusted with a role with a minimum of words, and then complicate his part. When the script is ready, select the appropriate scenery and costumes for the dolls.
Step 5
Find sound effects for the show. You can record music on a separate disc, turn it on and off at the right time.
Step 6
Arrange a rehearsal for the play, where each puppeteer can repeat his part of words, practice interacting with a toy before presenting to the public.
Step 7
When everything is ready for the premiere, build an auditorium out of chairs. You can make toy tickets for a puppet show, make a mini buffet with drinks and popcorn. The main thing is that all participants in the home performance get maximum pleasure from the process.
