Step 1
Making a puppet theater together is a good opportunity to introduce a child to the world of fairytale transformations. Even the smallest children, three to four years old, are able to take part in the production of decorations and dolls for home performance. You can start with simple paper actors and sets, gradually creating a real puppet theater.
Step 2
To craft paper dolls for your first performance, you will need colored paper, glue, cardboard, colored pencils, or markers. Also, as heroes, you can use ready-made suitable images cut from magazines or pictures printed from the Internet. You can use flat wooden ice cream sticks as a holder; Pharmacy-sold medical wooden sticks used to look at the throat are also suitable.
Step 3
First of all, draw characters with your child or cut out ready-made images. Using safe scissors, it is quite possible to entrust the cutting job to the baby.

Paste the cutouts onto cardboard and glue them to wooden sticks. The heroes of the show are ready.

To make a scene on a sheet of thick cardboard, draw the appropriate scenery - a forest, a clearing or a room - it all depends on which scenes you are going to act out. The same dolls can be used in different performances - it is not at all necessary to follow the known plots exactly, let the child show imagination.
