Step 1
First, make a screen. The easiest option is to stretch a rope across the room and hang a large piece of cloth over it. The screen is ready. Cut flowers, butterflies, or colorful pictures from magazines and old books, or children's drawings from colored paper. If possible, sew a screen from multi-colored scraps in a handwritten style.
Step 2
For a play with decorations, put two chairs and place a wide board on their backs. Drape everything with a cloth. Now it is possible to put all the necessary decorations on top of the board.
Step 3
Make decorations out of thick cardboard. Draw on him different elements of the landscape: houses, trees, flowers, etc. Paint with paints and cut after drying along the contour. Make multi-functional sets that can be used in several performances. It's good if they are double-sided. Paint the house outside and inside. In this case, turning it upside down, you can show the room. Trees can be summer on one side, and autumn or winter on the other.
Step 4
Pull a thread, string or fishing line over the screen at a certain height. You can hang cardboard moon, sun, clouds, rainbows, clouds on it if they are necessary for the play.
Step 5
The easiest way to fix flat cardboard decorations on the screen is with a regular clothespin. And so that it does not spoil the view, disguise the clothespins as parts of the scenery. Draw and cut out cardboard figurines of mushrooms, flowers, bushes, etc. And glue them to the clothespin.
Step 6
You can also make a more complex volumetric decoration house. To do this, glue the cardboard with an old cloth. Use wallpaper glue. Twist the tubes out of cardboard along the length of the "log" and tie them with threads for strength. Then glue the resulting logs in place. After the workpiece dries well, paint the decoration. After the paints are completely dry, cover the product with two coats of furniture varnish.
