You can buy them, or you can make them yourself. So you will save money, and you can always make such a shape for your future product that industrial manufacturers cannot even offer you.

Step 1
You can make a mold from polymer clay, which is popular today. To do this, take clay, come up with a model of your product (for example, a chamomile flower for the corresponding shape of a bath bomb) and start creating. Raw clay is very similar to plasticine. Therefore, you can easily make whatever your heart desires from it. Return to the chamomile. You can make it out of solid clay - it's just a mold anyway. On the other hand, multi-colored, it will in itself cheer you up. Blinded? Now you need to bake it. This is done in order for it to acquire the appropriate hardness and already really become like a mold.
Step 2
For baking, place the prepared baking dish on a baking sheet or glass dish or other heat-resistant dish. It is advisable to pre-cover the dishes with baking paper so that your product does not burn. After that, put the container with your future mold in the oven and turn on the fire. The temperature should be set within 110-130 degrees (depending on the manufacturer). It is best to start a timer so as not to overexpose the craft. Roasting time ranges from 15 to 30 minutes. It depends on the thickness of the product. If it is thin, then it is quite possible to do with a quarter of an hour. If thick, then stand for half an hour. But again - do not overdo it, otherwise the clay will lose all its properties. After baking, your mold is ready, you can use it for its intended purpose.
Step 3
Alternatively, make a clay mold. The sculpting technology is the same. But the baking scheme is somewhat different. Before placing the product in the oven, dry it a little. After all, natural clay contains water, so for better baking, you need to evaporate it first. The main disadvantage of making molds from natural clay is that it must be baked not in an ordinary stove, but in a special one. However, buying this is not a problem. Why in a special oven? Because the clay must be fired at a temperature of about 1000 degrees. Naturally, a household stove is not ready for such loads. The product is being prepared for about 6 hours. The process is long and laborious. But on the other hand, at the exit you will receive a separate work of art in the form of your own mold.
