New Year is a special holiday. Therefore, you should prepare for his meeting especially carefully: think over the menu, outfits, room decoration. A New Year's poster is a simple and effective way to give a festive look to both your apartment and your office.

Step 1
Everyone can draw a New Year's poster. The main thing is to define the idea and decide what you want to portray. First of all, you need to mentally divide the paper space into zones in which text and images will be placed. The easiest place to start is by writing letters. The easiest way is to first apply their contours with a simple pencil, and then carefully paint over. If you want the letters to be written perfectly straight, you can also draw thin marking lines to neatly inscribe the words between them. If you plan to arrange the text in a semicircle, you can use a protractor.
Step 2
On the New Year's poster, you can draw everything related to winter, festive themes (spruce branches, Christmas tree decorations, serpentine) or the symbols of the coming year. Do not try to fill the entire space of the poster with drawings: it can become visually overwhelmed. Before you start drawing, you can practice on the drafts. Or, as in the case of letters, pre-apply the contours of the drawings. As a last resort, the drawings can be replaced with applique: just cut out the appropriate images from magazines and paste them on the New Year's poster.
Step 3
To make the New Year's poster look complete, you need to decorate it. If you used plain white paper, it is better to tint the remaining free areas on the poster. This can be done using shading with colored pencils or watercolors. And if you need to achieve gentle tones and smooth color transitions, you should resort to the proven method: carefully scrape off the crumbs from the crayons with a blade with a blade, dip cotton wool in it and paint over the desired areas with careful movements. In order to make the poster even more elegant, you can decorate it with glitter, tinsel or serpentine.
