A congratulation written on a homemade postcard carries a piece of the author's soul. Do you think you can't draw at all? Nothing wrong. Surely you did all kinds of crafts at school, so why not remember this? Even a person who does not feel sufficient confidence in their artistic abilities can draw an interesting postcard.

Instructions
Step 1
Think about who you are going to congratulate. New Year's cards for people of any age should be joyful and cheerful, but still, for a child, you can draw fairy-tale characters, and for an older person, a beautiful composition of Christmas tree branches and balls is more suitable. Prepare paper or cardboard. Not very thick colored cardboard is most suitable. Choose a shade that is lighter and not very bright. Bluish, creamy, pinkish, or beige are best. Cut a rectangle out of it, roughly corresponding to the A5 format. Fold it in half to make a book.
Step 2
Cut out the exact same rectangle from the brown paper. If you are only going to decorate one side of the postcard, you will need half of that piece. But you can paint the product on both sides. Arrange this sheet as the drawing will be.
Step 3
Draw a Christmas tree on a separate sheet of brown paper. It can be made stylized, consisting of several triangles. The triangles are the same height, the lower one is the longest, and the upper one is shorter than the others. The bottom of each fragment can be rounded. You can compose a composition of several trees of different sizes by placing them in different places. Transfer the Christmas trees to a draft card and cut them out. You now have a stencil.
Step 4
Place the stencil on a cardboard card. You can attach it with plastic paper clips. Put some bright green gouache on a tampon or sponge and fill the cut Christmas trees with it. You can do the opposite. Make the background from green or dark blue cardboard, and fill the Christmas trees with white.
Step 5
You can draw a snowman or balls using a stencil. Draw some circles on the stencil sheet. For the snowman, place them on top of each other, for the balls - in random order. Cut out the stencil. Place it on dark cardboard and fill the holes with white paint. Circle the balls along the contour with a thin brush. Draw a gray rectangle on top of each ball, and a loop above it. Make the snowman's face with black gouache or felt-tip pen. Set points for the eyes, draw an arc-mouth and a triangle-nose. The nose can be painted over with red or orange paint.
Step 6
If you are compositing multiple objects and using stencils, draw the largest object first. For example, the same snowman. Cover it with white paint and let dry. After that, overlay a second stencil, with Christmas trees. When they are dry, paint in snowfall. Close the already existing parts of the composition. Perform the snow using the sprinkling technique. Draw some white paint onto your toothbrush and use a wooden stick to brush over the bristles with sharp strokes. You can draw fireworks the same way.
