A paper crane is a classic craft. There are several options for this paper product. We will write about the classic version. She is especially popular with fans of Japanese culture and anime. At first glance, making a crane is quite difficult, but this is not at all the case. This craft is done very simply.
It is necessary
- - paper;
- - scissors;
Instructions
Step 1
Take a piece of paper and fold it in half diagonally. Make a square as shown in the photo.
Step 2
Cut off the excess with scissors. You will get a square folded diagonally. It is with the square that we will continue to work further.
Step 3
Now fold the square of paper along the second diagonal. Next, fold the square cross to cross. Check out the attached photo.
Step 4
The next step is very important and rather difficult. It is necessary to take the folded square, on which the fold lines remain, and using them as guides, make a diamond. Inside this diamond should be "wings" formed by inner folds. In fact, the square will shrink 4 times.
Step 5
Check out the resulting diamond. You should get the design shown in the photo. It consists of two layers, between which are the folded parts of the diagonals. The easiest way to get this design is from a triangle (or a sheet with fold lines folded diagonally).
Step 6
Now fold the edges of the diamond as shown in the photo. This step should have four folds.
Step 7
Take the resulting shape and fold the top left and right along the line of contact. Study the photo for correct understanding.
Step 8
Turn the outer folds of the diamond on the four sides inside the shape. The result is a blank for the wings. After turning this blank, it remains to bend the wings from top to bottom on both sides and it remains to make only the head and tail.
Step 9
You should get a blank, which is shown below in the photo. It is a regular rhombus in shape.
Step 10
In order to make the head and tail, it is enough to pull out the inner folds and fold them, as shown in the photo. The tail differs from the head only in that it has an additional fold inward.
Step 11
As a result, we have a great crane.
