Step 1
Assembling the crane begins with the basic origami shape - "square". To make this shape, take a square piece of paper, fold it vertically and horizontally, and then unfold it back.
Step 2
Fold the sheet diagonally, fold the right corner of the resulting triangle to the left, then straighten the top triangle into a square.
Step 3
Flip the piece over and flatten the corner into a square. The basic form, on which you will work in the future, is ready.
Step 4
Now you need to push the paper layers apart on the sides and make the following folds: fold and unfold the right and left edges, then fold and unfold the top of your shape. After that, do the same with the reverse side.
Step 5
Gently lift the top layer of the rhombus and fold it up by pressing on the sides of the shape. Flip the workpiece over to the other side and do the same.
Step 6
Now move the layers of paper apart on the sides and fold them towards the center of the side of your future crane. Flip the resulting shape to the other side and do the same operations.
Step 7
Spread the paper layers along the sides of the almost finished crane and fold up the sharp edges of the shape. Press on the sides - this will align the figure.
Step 8
Now you can bend the paper crane's beak and tail back and forth. Bend the nose to one side, spread the wings of the bird. You can slightly inflate the craft. Your origami figurine is ready.
