Step 1
There are many ways to weave dreadlocks, so before you start weaving hair, determine for yourself what kind of hairstyle you should.
Step 2
Braid using Faux Dreadlocks. To do this, collect the strands (one strand from an area of about two square centimeters), braid them, and fix the ends with elastic bands. When you finish the weaving procedure, take one of the strands, remove the fixing elastic from it and divide it into three equal strands. Then add fake hair to each strand (fake hair should be three times the intended length of the dreadlocks). After that, braid your own and artificial hair into a braid, and fix the end of this braid with an elastic band. When the braid is ready, braid the braid on top (from root to end) with the hanging end of the artificial hair and secure the end with an elastic band. Then lubricate the dread with wax. Repeat this procedure with all strands.
Step 3
Braid dreadlocks using the Twist and Break method. For this purpose, during the next shampooing with a smooth movement of the hands, perform the "rubbing" of the hair (movements should only be clockwise). When the hair is dry, divide it into separate strands, then smear each strand with wax and roll it again with your palms. When weaving dreadlocks, this method provides for a monthly head wash followed by twisting the dreadlocks. The hairstyle will be ready in four months.
Step 4
Braid dreadlocks using the Hairpin Twist method. To do this, divide your hair into many thin strands and secure them with clips. After that, apply wax to your hair and fix the dreadlocks with hairpins in such a way that these "curls" do not unwind. Use curlers to curl your dreadlocks.
