Since ancient times, flower wreaths have been woven during ritual acts, fortune-telling and wedding ceremonies. The ability to make a beautiful crown out of plants was highly valued among girls. Today, this flower decoration is rather a beautiful summer fun for girls. However, it depends only on your taste and imagination whether it will turn into a real work of decorative and applied art. The basic methods of weaving wreaths in the future can be used to work with other natural materials and create original interior items.
It is necessary
- - flowers with long stems;
- - herbs, leaves;
- - thread or grass, bast.
Instructions
Step 1
Collect as many long-stemmed flowers as possible. The more magnificent and colorful you collect the bouquet, the more beautiful the wreath will turn out. Do not forget that the colored crown will quickly fade and immediately decrease in size. So don't be afraid to overdo it.
Step 2
Put three flowers together and start braiding their stems like a regular plait. After the first curl, place a new flower in the middle of the braid and make a second round of the braid.
Step 3
Continue to work with the pattern, trying to lay the flower against the flower as tightly as possible. In a neatly woven floral braid, the bare stems should have been visible only from the wrong side of the wreath.
Step 4
Try to keep the ugly short "ponytails" (not included in the pigtail) not conspicuous. In the process of working on the wreath, this can be achieved with the help of very tight weaving and the selection of lush inflorescences. In addition, decorative leaves can be woven into the braid - for example, large carved maple and oak leaves.
Step 5
Try on a wreath on your head - if you are satisfied with the circumference, then it's time to finish the work. Carefully cut off the protruding "tails" (if they are still visible) and connect the wreath in a ring. Fix its ends with stems and an additional strong (but thin) thread, which it is advisable to pick up to match the main color of the floral wreath.
Step 6
Try another way to weave a wreath of flowers. To do this, you need to choose the largest flowers for the beginning and form a long bunch of them. Sequentially applying subsequent flowers to the resulting base, wrap the stems around it and press new inflorescences at the same time.
Step 7
Don't be afraid to experiment! Fortunately, during the summer forbs you will have no shortage of natural material. Try not single flowers, but long bunches of wildflowers and grasses, to the buds.
Step 8
Secure the herbal bunches with a stem twisted around the base - but not at the receptacle itself, but leaving free ends of 5-10 cm. You will get a particularly lush floral decoration. Secure the ends of the finished wreath firmly.
