The fashion for a thin waist originated in the Middle Ages. But if then it was customary to pull it down to the size of the lover's neck circumference, then today corsets are sewn to correct the figure in certain places. Today, a corset is a piece of evening wear, casual wear or underwear that gives the waist the desired shape and supports the chest.

Instructions
Step 1
Cut off the required piece of foil (50 cm) from the roll, make it corrugated. To do this, spread the foil on a flat surface, place your palm on it and squeeze it. For a slender figure, 4 pieces of foil are enough, and for a regular figure - 6 pieces. Take paper tape, cut it into long strips 3-4 cm wide and short (you will need a lot of them).
Step 2
Now place the first piece of foil on the front of the dummy, so that the edge of the foil goes behind the visually drawn vertical that divides the dummy in half. Tape one end of the foil horizontally in three places to keep it from falling off. Use your hands to give the foil the outline of the mannequin, which is why it was previously necessary to make it corrugated so that it does not rip, but stretches and contracts on the bends of the mannequin.
Step 3
Secure the second edge of the foil and do the same for the rest of the foil. Arrange the pieces of foil so that there are no uncovered areas on the mannequin. The entire mannequin should be in the foil so that it (foil) repeats exactly all of its outlines.
Step 4
Apply the girths of the chest, waist and hips with tape 4 cm wide, so that later on it can be used to draw an exact line of the chest, etc. Then sketch out the reliefs of the resulting product. Now remove it from the mannequin. To do this, cut the product along the reliefs, as a result you will get small details.
Step 5
Then make these parts flat. Spread them out on a flat surface and cut in the most concave and convex places so that there is a discrepancy on the bulges and the parts are on top of each other on the concave places of the foil.
Step 6
Transfer these details to paper. To do this, alternately apply the parts to graph paper and circle them with a pencil, while noting the discrepancy and the places where the parts are on top of each other. Remove excess stretch marks and add the missing pieces along the lower and upper cut of the patterns (foil parts) and cut out the details. The pattern is ready.
