A corset is a wardrobe item that does not require additional decoration, since it is designed to emphasize the forms of its owner. If there is a need to focus on the bodice area or the bend of the waist, you can decorate the corset with inserts, ribbons or embroidery.

Step 1
Decorate the corset with lace inserts. Use inclusions of a contrasting color, for example, if the corset is red, red details will look good on it, if beige, use a black woven fabric. On the other hand, inserts of the same color as the main material of the product will also look exquisite, for example, white lace on a white satin corset will emphasize the romantic style of this wardrobe item.
Step 2
Decorate the corset with decorative lacing. To do this, sew on the back small loops on both sides, retreating 3-4 cm from the central vertical line running along the spine. Ideally, if the loops will come out of the seam of the side parts of the corset. Thread the satin ribbon into the eyelets, just like laces are threaded through the holes on the shoe. You can lace up the corset from top to bottom or bottom to top as you like. The lacing can also be created from both sides on the sides, it will be under your hands. In this case, it is better to tie the bows at the bottom. The lacing on a two-tone corset looks especially impressive, for example, if the front and back of the corset are made of black fabric, and the side panels are pink. In this case, it is appropriate to make the side lacing with black tape.
Step 3
Use embroidery skills in the decoration. Satin stitch embroidery looks best on a corset; you can create it manually or on a special sewing machine. Use images of birds, flowers, dragons as ideas. It is not necessary to position the drawing symmetrically about the vertical or the center. You can arrange the floral pattern obliquely from bottom to top.
Step 4
Complete the fatal look with rhinestones or sparkles. Place these decorations on the front of the corset. Do not decorate the side parts of the product with rhinestones so that your hands do not get scratched and the bracelets do not catch on.
