Instructions
Step 1
Select the lettering that you will transfer to the T-shirt. It should be simple enough and not too long. To prepare the template, use a graphical editor that is available on almost any computer. Download the program and create the inscription of your choice in the editor. Experiment with different fonts, colors, and positioning. Having formed the inscription, flip it horizontally on the screen, mirroring it.
Step 2
Insert specially designed transparencies into your inkjet printer. The smooth side of the film should be directed towards the working part of the printing device. Check the printer and computer settings, and then print on the film cover a mirror image of the inscription you prepared in a graphics editor.
Step 3
Spread the T-shirt on a horizontal surface and straighten it carefully. While the print on the film has not dried, place the stencil on the fabric and smooth it gently, making sure that the ink is well absorbed into the material. When the outline is attached to the shirt, leave the garment to dry completely.
Step 4
Arm yourself with colored acrylic markers. Circle the lettering around the outline, and then fill in the inner space of the letters. The work will become easier if you put a sheet of thick paper or cardboard with a self-adhesive film applied on it under the fabric in advance. In this way, streaks and blurring of the image can be prevented.
Step 5
Dry the finished inscription by walking over it with a moderately heated iron. This will fix the paint and become resistant to moisture. Hang the renewed T-shirt flat on a hanger and leave it in this position for about a day, after which the product can be used.
