Using color is one good way to draw attention to a lettering. To create a colored inscription, you can use a text editor that allows you to change the font color or a graphic editor. The choice of the program depends on which file you want to end up with.

Instructions
Step 1
A text file with a colored inscription can be made using the Microsoft Word editor. Create a new document in this editor using the New File button or the New command from the File menu. Enter the text for the label using the keyboard.
In order to change the color and size of an inscription, select it and open the settings window using the "Font" command from the "Format" menu. In the window that opens, select the type of font, its style, size and color. If necessary, you can modify the inscription by adding a shadow, outline, strikethrough, underline to it, by checking the corresponding checkbox. Click OK.
Save the created inscription using the "Save" command from the "File" menu.
Step 2
To obtain a graphic file with a color caption, you can use the Paint editor. Select the "Text" tool in the tool palette, left-click on the section of the document, from which the inscription will begin, and enter the inscription using the keyboard.
Adjust the font, font size and fill density using the drop-down lists located in the panel under the main menu. In order to change the color of the inscription, left-click on the desired color in the palette located in the lower left corner of the program window.
Save the inscription using the "Save" command from the "File" menu. In the window that opens, select a location on the hard disk where the file with the inscription will be saved, enter the file name and select the file type from the drop-down list. Click on the "Save" button.
Step 3
To quickly create a more picturesque lettering, you need the Photoshop editor. In this editor, create a document of arbitrary sizes in RGB color mode using the New command on the File menu. In the palette of tools select the Horizontal Text Tool ("Tool horizontal text"). Left-click on any place in the open document and enter the text of the inscription.
Adjust the font, style, font size and fill color. This can be done by selecting the text and setting the desired settings in the panel, which is located under the main menu. You can apply to the created inscription one of the styles of the Styles palette ("Styles"), which can be seen in the middle of the right side of the Photoshop window. To apply a style to the caption, click on the button of the selected style with the left mouse button. If you don't like the result, undo the last action with the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Z and apply a different style.
Save the caption using the Save command from the File menu or the Ctrl + S keyboard shortcut.
