Step 1
Making an inscription on paper or in electronic form, make it slightly larger than the main text. If the lettering does not contain a lot of characters, place it in the middle of the page (poster). So it will immediately catch the eye.

If your document is not official, but rather of an advertising nature, make the inscription in color. Try not to overdo it with bright and acidic hues. Remember also that light lettering will only stand out against a dark background and vice versa, dark ones against a light background. Otherwise, the inscription will be difficult to read (to find out the content of the text, you will have to strain your eyes).

With the help of the modern computer program Word, you can even make a three-dimensional inscription. On paper, of course, it will not look so impressive, but it will nevertheless bring a certain touch of originality to the overall design of the document.

Design labels in different font styles: the top toolbar offers a wide variety of font styles, differing in size, slant, and letter spacing.

For writing on hard surfaces, you should contact an engraving specialist. You are unlikely to be able to “fill in” a beautiful text on your own. First order several layout options and choose the most successful one. If the master refuses this service, order a sketch of the inscription from any familiar designer.
Step 6
When making a layout, remember that the main emphasis in the inscription must be on the size of the font: the text must be of such a size that everyone can read it. At the same time, do not overdo it - all proportions must be observed correctly: there must be free space on the plate for decorative design elements, or just empty space. This way the inscription will be visually perceived much better.
