Paper lanterns are a must on Chinese holidays. They are made from a variety of colored paper of various thicknesses and textures. Chinese lanterns have different designs. Some of them can even contain candles. The diffused light of a Chinese lantern creates a romantic, intimate atmosphere. Therefore, the interiors of many restaurants and cafes are decorated with these simple paper products.
Instructions
Cut a strip of paper 0.7-1.0 cm wide and 10-15 cm long. Glue it to the top of the flashlight in the shape of a pen. Glue a cylinder of contrasting or white paper inside the finished flashlight. That's all. By the way, you can put a burning candle inside such a flashlight, but the diameter of the flashlight must be at least 20 cm.
Another paper lantern design. Take a sheet of bright colored paper 10x20 cm. Set aside 0.5 cm along the long sides and cut the sheet into cloves. Glue the cylinder out of the sheet, bend the cloves inward.
Take a 5x20 cm strip of white paper, fold it several times, draw a silhouette on it and cut it out so that you get several identical figures connected to each other. Stick these figures onto a colored cylinder. From colored paper of a different color, cut out several circles with a diameter of 6-7 cm. Glue these circles on the teeth of the cylinder.
Pass a thick colored thread or thin string through the center of the cylinder, tie knots at the top and bottom of the flashlight. String a few more colored circles of different diameters on the laces, fasten them also with knots.
