New Year's chores are not at all tiring, on the contrary, I want to do as much as possible and embody the most interesting ideas for decorating the interior. Bright lanterns, for example, add to the festive mood.

It is necessary

  • - colored paper,
  • - old postcards,
  • - awl,
  • - scissors,
  • - scotch tape,
  • - PVA glue,
  • - plastic cover,
  • - small balloons,
  • - candles

Instructions

Step 1

First option. Take a piece of colored paper, fold it in half with the colored side out. Make parallel cuts at the same distance from the fold line. The cuts should not extend to the edges of the sheet, approximately 2 cm.

Step 2

Unfold the sheet and roll it into a tube, gluing the ends of the sheet together. Now squeeze the resulting tube at the same time from above and below so that you get a flashlight. Cut out a strip of paper in a contrasting color or a suitable color and glue it to the top of the flashlight - this will be its handle. You can decorate the finished flashlight with pieces of rain.

Step 3

Second option. Cut the colored paper into strips of equal length and width. One flashlight will require about 14-16 strips of paper. Fold the strips in a pile and use an awl to make a hole at one end and the other. Pass the thread through one of the holes, securing it with tape, sticker or glue.

Step 4

Thread the thread through the second hole. Now pull it down so that the strips are curved. Tie the thread in a knot (make the knot large enough so that the thread does not jump out). Now straighten the strips to form a ball. The flashlight is ready.

Step 5

The third option. Cut the paper into strips 2 cm wide and 30 cm long. One flashlight - 4 strips. Use an awl to make a hole in the center of each strip. Cut out the silhouette of a bird from thick paper and make a hole in the center of the back with an awl. Thread it through and tie a knot at the end. Make the second knot at a distance of 4 cm from the bird.

Step 6

Thread the thread through the hole in the strips and advance them to the second knot. Tie another knot; for beauty, you can wear a large bead. Take the plastic cover and tape it over with double-sided tape. Pull the strips apart and glue their ends symmetrically to the tape on the lid. Cut another strip of colored paper and glue it around the lid, covering the ends of the strips. The flashlight is ready.

Step 7

The fourth option. Pour water into small balloons (10 cm diameter), tie and place in the freezer overnight. Then free the ball from the rubber and pour the unfrozen water from the center of the ball - you can insert a small candle here. If the flashlight will be indoors, place a stand under it. The ice will melt slowly and the candle will float beautifully inside it.

Step 8

Fifth option. Cut a strip 9 cm wide and 18.5 cm long from a sheet of thick paper. Make cloves along the horizontal edges. Now roll the workpiece into a cylinder and glue the edges by bending the teeth inward. Stick pictures on the cylinder: Christmas trees or the symbol of the coming year according to the Chinese calendar. Pass a string through the blank and string another 2-3 circles of thick colored paper on it. Secure the circles with knots. The flashlight is ready.
