Sky lanterns came into the tradition of our holidays from the East. They become a romantic addition to any celebration. When you look at the light flying into the sky, it seems as if the wish made at its launch will surely come true. Buying a flashlight in a store or making it yourself? You decide. However, try making it at home first.
It is necessary
- Tracing paper;
- Cardboard;
- Threads;
- Glue;
- Candles in aluminum cups ("tablets");
- Paints;
- Garbage bags of 60 liters (transparent);
- Food foil;
- Thick knitting needle;
- Cotton wool;
- Thin copper wire;
- Scissors;
- Alcohol;
- Scotch.
Instructions
Step 1
Glue the edges of the tracing paper. You should get a cylinder. If it seems too long to you, shorten it with scissors.
Step 2
Cut two circles out of cardboard. One is the diameter of the cylinder, the other is half the size. Glue the first one to one end of the cylinder (this will be the top). Sew the second with threads in the middle of the second end (this is the bottom).
Step 3
Paint the flashlight, glue it with tinsel and whatever you want. Place a candle at the bottom.
Step 4
You can make a flashlight from a garbage bag, preferably a transparent one. Wrap two foil tubes on the knitting needle, set the knitting needle aside, cross the tubes.
Step 5
Put a cotton swab dipped in alcohol in the middle of the tubes, wrap it all with wire.
Step 6
Cut the edges of the cross to fit the bag inlet. Tape the two together.
