Neatly sculpted eyes give the plasticine character a lively expressive look. Of course, plastic blanks can be used for these purposes. But eyes molded from plasticine will look more organic and advantageous.
It is necessary
- - plasticine;
- - a tool for working with plasticine;
- - preparation of the head from plasticine.
Instructions
Step 1
Separate a small piece of plasticine from the total mass. Divide it into two equal parts. Each piece should make a neat ball. To prevent fingerprints on the ball, use rubber smooth gloves. Set the finished balls aside. Choose a suitable shade of plasticine for the iris of future eyes, roll two tiny balls out of it, flatten them. Next, attach the resulting discs to the balls that you made before. Press down on them a little to make them stick better. Take black plasticine and make two small round pieces out of it - these will be the pupils. Place each one in the middle of the iris. As a result, you have an eyeball.
Step 2
Take the head blank. Squeeze two indentations where the eyes should be. Make sure the pits are the same depth. Place the previously molded eyeballs into them. They should protrude slightly above the edge of the fossa. Place a small thick plasticine flagellum between the eyes. It will fill in the notch that separates the eyes. Smooth the edges of the flagellum with a plasticine tool. Gently slide the tool over the clay so that there are no gaps between the character's head and the flagellum.
Step 3
Make four thin, elongated flagella. With their help, you can shape the eyelids. Take one of the flagella and attach it to the top edge of the eyeball. If the flagellum is left in this form, the eyes will have a comical, slightly puffy appearance. Make them thinner and more vibrant. Cut off the excess plasticine along the edges of the flagellum with the help of the sharp edge of the tool. Then, gently rub the top edge of the tourniquet over the brow region of the head. Repeat the same procedure with the remaining three eyelid details. The lower eyelids are less curved than the upper ones. At the inner edge of the eye, the eyelids connect to form a teardrop. For a more natural look, pull the outer edge of the upper eyelid down a bit to the lower.
