The imposing fluffy bumblebee is a frequent visitor to nature-themed paintings. Its unusual coloration makes it hard to miss among the vibrant natural colors. This striped toiler can decorate a sunny meadow and a bouquet of wildflowers.
It is necessary
- - Paper;
- - pencil;
- - paints;
- - brush;
- - eraser.
Instructions
Step 1
Start drawing the bumblebee by sketching its outlines. Draw a large circle in the middle of the paper. To the left, draw a circle with a smaller diameter. It should slightly overlap the previous circle. Divide the large circle into five vertical parts and paint them in turn with black or yellow paint. Make the small circle yellow, and then draw another small circle in black on it. Draw a thin triangle to the large circle on the right side, which will become a sting for the bumblebee.
Step 2
Draw two blue ovals extending upward from the left circle and slightly to the sides. They slightly overlap the body of the bumblebee. These ovals will become the wings of the insect. On each wing, draw a white pattern that resembles the veins of a leaf: one curved strip along the length of the oval and several lines extending from it in different directions.
Step 3
Add three pairs of limbs to the lower body of the bumblebee. Draw them in zigzag lines with one or two folds. The limbs are black. Now you can draw the eyes of the insect. To do this, sketch two white ovals where the eyes should be. Then draw two black ovals on top of them, shifted slightly to the left. Thus, you should have two white arcs framing the bumblebee's eyes. Add a white highlight to the surface of each eye.
Step 4
The bumblebee has two antennae on its head. To draw them, draw two short lines from the top of the bumblebee. They should diverge slightly in different directions. Then draw one thick horizontal line to each antenna. On the bumblebee's head are parts of the mouth apparatus called mandibles. Draw them just below the bumblebee's eyes in the form of triangles that are turned with an acute angle downward. Make the sides of the triangle arched. Place an oblong highlight on the top of each mandible.
Step 5
The body of the bumblebee is covered with thick long hairs. This is one of the clearest signs by which a bumblebee can be distinguished from a bee. To show the furry surface of the insect, go with small strokes of the corresponding color along the edge of the yellow and black stripes on its body.
