Dmitry Maryanov achieved success and popularity twice. His first and immediately noticeable experience in films in his youth was the role of high school students, and a new round of fame awaited him after receiving professional education as an actor in both cinema and theater. A blood clot in deep veins is insidious in that it can break away from the place of formation at any time and lead to death. With such a diagnosis, it is necessary to take care of yourself and lead a healthy lifestyle. Phlebologists prescribed Maryanov treatment, installed a special filter in the vein and selected blood-thinning drugs. However, along with medications, the actor did not drink mineral water and other healthy drinks.

According to the stories of other patients of the institution, the customs there were distinguished by severity: clients were locked in the building, punished for violating the regime, and were not allowed to ventilate the rooms. People did not receive treatment as such, only conversations with a psychologist and droppers with saline. Of the drugs - haloperidol and phenazepam, which require strict control of their use. To go to such a place in a state of delirium actually meant signing oneself a verdict. In this case, the relatives of drunken alcoholics "Phoenix" seemed the last hope, when the patient is no longer able to stop, and little dare to suggest that the point in the history of the disease will be death.
Maryanov complained of pains in his leg and back in the morning of October 15, but the staff considered his complaints an attempt to leave the territory of the center under any pretext. So the ambulance was called only when the actor lost consciousness. The dispatcher was rude and instead of helping confused the callers, so they canceled the call and took Dmitry to the hospital themselves. And upon arrival, the doctors could only state the fact of death.
The official reason for the death of Dmitry Maryanov is thromboembolism, that is, the blockage of a blood vessel by a detached thrombus. He could have been saved by the competent actions of the Phoenix workers and the ambulance dispatcher, which did not call the nearest brigade. The incident led to massive inspections of private rehabilitation centers, clinics and nursing homes. The owner of the Phoenix was charged on two counts: abandonment in danger and violation of safety requirements, which resulted in the death of a person. After an investigation, the Ministry of Health decided to create a single list of questions for dispatchers in order to further exclude such errors when working with calls.
