Step 1
Before making the main product, be sure to tie the sample. Any magazine that has knitting instructions cannot give 100% success when doing the job. Each knitter has its own knitting density, and individually selected yarns, even in one purchase batch, may differ slightly. Therefore, using the linked pattern, you can correct the number of loops.
Step 2
Cast on 100 stitches on circular needles. Knit the first row and close the row into a circle. Continue to knit the elastic with only 7-10 rows of knit stitches, depending on its width. Next, follow the pattern: * 1 yarn over, 2 loops together, knitted with the front *. Each subsequent row, continue to work with knit loops again. As a result, you will get a double elastic band due to the fold, which will be formed in the area of the row in which the yarns were made. In this place, beautiful teeth will be formed, which will become an element of decor.
Step 3
Start knitting the main fabric, which also knit with the front satin stitch. The peculiarity of the skirt will be that it will be slightly flared, and several rows of knitted frills will appear at the hips. To do this, perform a flare by adding loops through an equal number of loops in a row, for example, every 20 loops (that is, 5 times in a row). Repeat the increase in loops in every 5th row. You can adjust the expansion of the canvas yourself, depending on the degree of the expected flare of the model. In any case, the increase in the number of loops should be uniform.
Step 4
After knitting 10 cm of the skirt, make the first doubling of the number of loops. To do this, in the process of knitting, make yarn overs through each loop, and remove them on additional circular knitting needles. Leave the auxiliary knitting needles on the outside of the skirt. Continue knitting the main fabric. After 7 cm, double the loops again, which also leave on the outside of the skirt. After 7 cm of the skirt, repeat again doubling the number of loops. Then knit another 10 cm of the front fabric, follow the above scheme to form teeth. After that, knit 3 rows, close the loops and hem the edge with a needle.
Step 5
Continue working with the stitches left on the circular needles. Ruffles will form in these places. Add loops according to the scheme: * 1 purl, 1 yarn, 4 knit loops, 1 yarn *. Knit the next row according to the picture. Through each row, continue adding stitches with yarn overs. As a result, you will get a frill, the width of which everyone determines for themselves. You can use a crochet hook to scallop the edges of the frills. Insert an elastic or a string with tassels into the belt.
