It is assumed that the Koktebel 2012 jazz festival will be held from August 29 - September 2, 2012 in the urban-type village of Koktebel in Ukraine. On the opening day, all seats will be already occupied. Therefore, it is worth thinking about how to attend this event in advance.
Every year Koktebel Jazz Fest gathers more than twenty thousand fans of alternative-improvisational music and contemporary jazz. This year is a jubilee year. That is why a large attendance of this wonderful event is implied. Therefore, tickets for a jazz festival must be purchased long before its start.
You can pay for e-tickets in any convenient way: through self-service terminals, using WebMoney virtual money or using VISA and MasterCard credit cards on the festival's official website and from ticket managers for all concerts.
And you don't have to buy a pass for the full list of performances. You can order a ticket for only one concert. Prices range from 69 hryvnia to 215 hryvnia for a one-day ticket. And from 489 hryvnia to 885 for a subscription for several days. In addition, you have to pay a small service fee. After payment, an SMS will be sent to your e-mail with a link to the ticket, which can be printed.
Free music by original bands will sound on three stages of the Crimean Black Sea coast. The embankment itself is 2.5 km long, so it is almost impossible for beginners to get lost here. Considering that all concerts will begin at 18-00, it is necessary to arrive in the village early and find a place to sleep closer to the stage.
You can get to Koktebel by train or bus Kiev - Feodosia. And from there it is already to the destination by bus or minibus. There should be no problems with an overnight stay in the village. Because the private sector in Crimea always provides housing for every taste. Economy rooms can be rented from 50 to 150 hryvnia. Living conditions will accordingly vary from amenities in the yard to a toilet in the "room". The hotel will cost much more - up to 1500 rubles.
The recreation center "Chemist", which is located just 30 meters from the embankment, can accept accommodation and overnight stay. The prices here are very reasonable: from 70 to 85 hryvnia per day. The current comfort and service are very pleasing. Camping Andre, located 250 meters from the beach, also has a hotel, 3-4 local economy houses and a guarded parking lot.
If there is no money for tickets, but you really want to visit the festival, there is another original way out. It is necessary to find funds only for travel there and back, for food and accommodation. Next, you need to fill out a form and go to Koktebel in order to earn tickets to the jazz fest at the same time. To do this, you will have to clean up the coastal area during the entire festival. The most active participants usually still receive original T-shirts with Jazz Koktebel logos.
