Step 1
Measure your baby's waist and hips. For example, it turned out 60 cm. The main knitting is hosiery and shawl. Calculate the knitting density. To do this, tie a 10 * 10 cm sample with a basic stitch. It turned out, for example, in 1 cm 5 loops. This means that there will be 300 loops in 60 cm.
Step 2
Start knitting with the widest part of the skirt. To do this, cast on the circular knitting needles the required number of loops, doubled (i.e. 600 loops). Tie 6-8 rows of garter stitch and hosiery stitch another 6-7cm.
Step 3
The next step is to cut the number of stitches in half. To do this, in the front row, knit every 2 loops together. There are 300 stitches left. Continue to knit the skirt in stocking knit. You need to tie so much that the upper shuttlecock covers the lower one by 1-1.5 cm.
Step 4
Tie 2 more shuttlecocks separately. Connect them together in this way: knit the next row of the upper shuttle, while grabbing the closed loops of the lower shuttle. It turned out three shuttlecocks connected to each other. After you attach the third flounce, tie the top of the skirt. It is better to make it 3-4 cm higher in order to sew in an elastic band.
Step 5
Sew in the right size elastic. You can tie the flounces of the skirt with a contrasting thread using a crochet crochet pattern. You can decorate the skirt with a belt in the color of the product.
