People learned to weave jewelry on hand from ribbons, threads or thin leather straps many thousands of years ago. However, baubles became popular precisely because of the hippies. The adherents of this subculture were on the side of sincerity and naturalness, rejecting all the material values of society. And the hair dryers, woven from ordinary colored threads with their own hands, were considered the best gift, a symbol of friendship and boundless trust in each other.

Instructions
Step 1
In order to weave a friendship bracelet, prepare the thread of your favorite color, safety pins and scissors. You can weave from cotton threads such as "Iris", "Snowflake" or "Mouline".
Step 2
Select threads. Their number must be even. To prevent the bracelet from getting very thin, take at least six or eight strands of different shades. The length of the thread should be four times the size of the finished bauble.
Step 3
Secure the threads in one of the appropriate ways. If you want strings at the ends of your hair dryer, then leave a small "ponytail" about ten centimeters long, fasten the threads with tape, braid them and attach them to a flat surface, such as a table. Straighten the threads in the form of rays.
Step 4
If you want the edges of the bauble to be straight, fold the threads in half and tape them to the table. You can also secure the threads with safety pins on the pillow.
Step 5
Now proceed directly to weaving a hair dryer. Arrange the threads according to the colors in the order necessary for the pattern of the bracelet. The extreme thread on the left is the main thread.
Step 6
Take the second thread on the left with your right hand and hold the warp thread with your left hand while pulling. Wrap the main thread twice with a working thread. Insert the end of the thread into the loop between the turns and tighten the knot. Repeat the step one more time. In total, you have two knots.
Step 7
Next, move on to the next thread (third from the left) and tie two knots again as described in the previous step. Weave in the same way to the end of the row.
Step 8
The thread that was working (now it is on the far left) becomes the main one. Weave the next row of knots around it in the same way. Remember to keep the warp thread taut. Make sure the knots are the same and the bauble is even. If you do not get some kind of knot, then you can untangle it with a needle and continue weaving.
Step 9
Once you get the length of the bracelet you want, leave about ten centimeters of strands and braid them (just as you did at the beginning of braiding). If you are braiding a bauble without strings, then fasten the last thread and cut it off. Sew on a button, bead or button as a fastener.
