If almost everyone can sing with a microphone after some training, then without it it is already somewhat more difficult. After all, this requires the strength of the voice and possession of it, a good volume of lungs. So, opera singers can be heard well even against the background of the orchestra.
Instructions
Step 1
Take care of the production of your voice. Attend a vocal studio or one-to-one lessons with a teacher (depending on your future plans). You need to learn to sing on a support - with a toned belly. This will give strength and sonority to the voice, allow you to hold your breath and draw out long notes.
Step 2
Learn to use resonators. These are the chest, nasal and frontal sinuses. It is the resonators, not the ligaments, that are responsible for the strength and power of the voice. When you sing low notes, the chest resonator is used mainly, and when you sing high notes, the upper resonators are used. At the same time, vibration is felt in them. Thus, there is no point in straining the ligaments for the sake of sound volume - this can only damage them.
Step 3
Develop your voice power. Then you will be heard while performing without a microphone. Here, firstly, the correct use of resonators plays an important role, and secondly, regular training. Thanks to them, you will form the habit of correct sound production and control of your own voice. Otherwise, when worried, you may not pick some notes or even feel unable to perform a song that you did quite well in rehearsals. If you have a long experience of classes, then self-confidence will not allow you to go astray, even with excitement. Plus, you can focus on your artistry.
Step 4
Whenever possible, choose a room with good acoustics for your performance. In such a room, the voice sounds louder and louder. In a small room, you shouldn't force the sound.
Step 5
When performing, be guided by the strength of your voice and the acoustic characteristics of the room, as well as the soundtrack. Singing too loudly is also not worth it. Also, lowering and increasing the volume depends on the semantic intonations in the composition.
