Hand-made dolls are more and more popular. Someone makes them rag, someone sculpts from clay, but sooner or later any master has a question about how to make a kule nose. Agree, the external attractiveness of the toy depends on it. It's worth starting with making a blank for the head.
Instructions
Step 1
To make a foil doll head, mold a skull base. First, make a ball out of foil, then give it the shape of an egg. On the side of the face, flatten the shape and mark the temporal bone. Then define the line where the eyes will be located, make indentations for them and insert the eyes. Set your eyes deep into the base, deepen the eye socket if necessary. Fix the position of the eyes with a piece of plastic. Use a thin bamboo stick to make a tripod and place the head. Check the symmetry of the face. After all, the base, made correctly, will also set the correct shape for the head.
Step 2
Take a piece of plastic, knead it well in your hands so that it becomes soft. Blind a plate with a thickness of 5-6 mm. Its size should be such that it half overlaps the base of the head. Place this plate on your future doll's face. Gently brush the edges of the plate towards the back of the head. Make another plate and close the back of the head. Level these surfaces so that no seams are visible. Feel where the eyes are under the plastic, move the plastic slightly apart. Use the tool to clear the eyes, smoothing the sharp corners with your fingers. Fashion the eyelids from a thin flagellum. Blind the base of the bridge of the nose.
Step 3
Before sculpting your nose, consider its shape and size. Remember all the proportions of the face. To keep your face proportioned, measure from your chin to your browbone and divide it in half. You got the line of the tip of the nose. Draw a line for the mouth. For the nose, mold a blank out of a small piece of plastic. Apply it to the place where the nose will be located, and smear thoroughly. Sculpt the bridge of the nose, wings and the tip of the nose. Make indentations for the nasal openings. Consider the proportions - the wings of the nose should be located above the septum of the nose.
Step 4
Sculpt your cheeks and mouth. Stick the neck to the head and apply thoroughly. If necessary, set the head tilt. This will give your doll dynamics and liveliness. Sculpt your ears. Although people's ears are different, they have the same structure. The shape of the ear is a shell, and its size is equal to the distance from the tip of the nose to the eyebrows. Attach your ears parallel to your nose.
Step 5
It is very important that your hands are always clean when handling plastic. To do this, use regular (non-paper) wet wipes. You can also wipe plastic with these napkins - they smooth the surface very well. If, nevertheless, the dirt has eaten very strongly and is not removed by anything, then simply cut it off with a thin layer using a tool.
